Typography Self-Portrait
Subject: Designing With Type
Year: 2013
Software: Adobe Illustrator
This project involved creating posters to promote my personal brand. My poster designs had to reflect my personality and styles, which are minimalistic and bold. These “rules” also reflect my work ethics. I chose the colours of the title frames based on their content.

I Love Typography Postcards
Subject: Designing With Type
Year: 2013
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
These are postcards made to fit the theme “I love typography”. I was required to create the type faces using objects or special methods. The top design was made using coffee, crayons and straws, and the bottom one was made using a 5x5 rubix cube that I rearranged for each individual letter.
DCLA Logo Redesign
Subject: Graphic Communication
Year: 2014
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
When creating a new logo for the Department of Communication & Liberal Arts, the new identity needed to capture the essence what the department is all about. I used different shades of green to represent sound waves to indicate the instance of communication. I used the colour green to symbolise growth, which is what it aims to help its students to do.
Bellroy Slim Wallets // Print Advertisements
Subject: Art Direction & Campaign Strategy
Year: 2014
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Bellroy wallets are made to be as slim as possible. Before designing the advertisement, I realised the main reason for buying a Bellroy is because conventional wallets are thick and uncomfortable to place in the back pocket, and there are those who take out their wallets when they sit down for this very reason. I used a visual of a person sitting on a bench with the Bellroy wallet in his back pocket along with the copy to show comfort and ease.
Interactive Flash Movie
Subject: Advanced Graphic Communication
Year: 2015
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash (ActionScript3)
Creating a flash movie based on the theme “think green”. The concept for my movie was about a dormant artificial intelligence (A.I.) programme being reactivated years after human extinction to gather data on how the planet decayed due to pollution and human activity.
The experience takes the user through the possible outcomes of our impact on the planet. By the end, the A.I. makes an attempt to send the data it collected after reactivation back to the past in hopes to compel humanity to change it’s ways.
Amnesty International // Sex Education Awareness Campaign
Subject: Creative Advertising
Year: 2015
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Amnesty International is a human rights NGO that advocates the need for comprehensive sex education for all. The concept for these print advertisements is that if we do not thoroughly educate the youth in our nation about sexual health, they may not be able to make good choices about it.
